The Community Land Trust will also make land available for agricultural educational and research, inviting the participation of the Delta School District and other local organizations.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Institute for Sustainable Horticulture would provide research as the lead agency of the BC Centre for Urban Agriculture. Situated in the Market Square and adjacent cluster of agricultural buildings, the BC Centre would accommodate a farming school and related learning activities associated with community trust farming and urban agriculture, such as community gardens and neighbourhood greens.
