Shared Office Space
One of the newest concepts in the 'work-from-home' model is shared office space.
Since a great deal of business is now done online or on the phone, a large office space is rarely necessary. Shared offices are just like a regular office setting: complete with a reception area, professional reception, a meeting room and smaller offices. They also include the usual office infrastructure, such as a photocopier, a digital presentation projector, computers, and even a small kitchen and beverage station.
The only real difference between a shared office and a traditional office is that no one actually works there. A shared office space provides those individuals who work from home with a professional 'store front' in which to conduct their business.
By sharing the expenses of an office, 'work from home' clients can have a polished, professional presence in which to grow their business. A shared receptionist receives calls and patches them through to whatever location you choose, which adds a great deal of professionalism to your business at a fraction of the cost. Other benefits include shared faxing and printing, as well as a common professional address for mail, letterhead and advertising.
