Sustainable Building Features

Infrastructure systems for the new Southlands neighbourhood will be designed using the latest ecologically responsible technology and green design practices. New homes on the Southlands will be built to meet LEED standards and will be design-ready for the installation of alternative new energy systems developed over time. For instance, homes will be capable of installing thermal hot water, solar or photovoltaic systems on the roofline.
