Careers - Manager, Agricultural Operations
Reporting to the President, this key role will be instrumental in preparing and executing a Century Group Agricultural Development Plan for its agricultural land in South Delta and other relevant properties.
You will be responsible for site evaluation, market evaluation, sourcing and making contacts, generating cost-effective solutions; orchestrating design and any required development, management of ongoing agricultural production activities, tracking and reporting progress.
You possess a diploma in Agricultural Management, or equivalent education and five to ten years’ experience. You have extensive knowledge and experience with supply-managed agricultural commodities, policies and regulations in British Columbia.
As well, your interest and ability to contribute to Century Group’s urban agriculture and sustainability ideals in its development projects generally is a definite asset. The introduction of community-scale agriculture forms part of the Century Thinking sustainability ideal.
While the primary work location for this position is South Delta, some travel will be required.
The position is challenging and offers a competitive salary commensurate with your experience as well as a performance-based incentive program.
