Century Group president Sean Hodgins is hoping residents that support the attributes of his vision, as well as those that may be undecided but want to find out more, will show up at Wednesday's meeting.
"I would appeal to people to come out that actually want consideration so there's not just an anti-everything voice that's heard, but those who actually think there should be some thoughtful consideration to development," he said.
"People that have known and respected me in the community and respected the hard work that I've tried to do should come out and not allow this group to hijack the whole process and just say no.
"The other thing, what are they saying no to? They're saying no to development, but they're also saying no to the vast majority of the land being dedicated as public land - the community agriculture, the parks, the trails, the open space."
