SCPT Alumni Disclaimer

The process undertaken by the Southlands Community Planning Team (SCPT) came to a conclusion following the May 2008 Southlands Public Design Charrette, with its final meeting in June 2008 that reviewed charrette results. At that meeting the SCPT agreed that, going forward, individuals from the SCPT Alumni would be free to speak out, either in favour or against the charrette plans or its refinements based on adherence to the Design Brief adopted by the SCPT in April 2008. The design brief formed the instructions to the charrette design team during the charrette and it should form a basis to judge any refinements.

Sean Hodgins of Century Group agreed to keep the SCPT Alumni informed of major changes to the plan as the application to The Corporation of Delta met with further public scrutiny and refinements.

Individual members of the SCPT Alumni are encouraged to continue to comment and raise issues relative to the Southlands and planning generally in Tsawwassen. Those comments should be viewed as personal comments not necessarily reflective of the views of the former SCPT in its entirety.
